Project. Helwan Cement Integrated Plant Project
Scope of work
The Suez Cement Company’s Helwan integrated plant has a waste heat recovery system that will gather the waste heat produced in the kiln and transform it into electrical energy.
The new plant will make extensive use of cutting-edge technology to guarantee an environmentally and energy-friendly manufacturing process and dramatically lower CO2 emissions from the electrical supply.
The “Waste Heat Recovery System” has the capacity to produce up to 18 MW of power for captive consumption by utilizing the extra heat from the production lines.
This system does not require extra fuel because it solely uses residual energy to generate power. Its method of generating power produces no greenhouse gases, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
Scope of work
The main work includes, construct and finishing major work in the plant for all necessary building needed for the plant such as Generator Budling and Cooling Tower Building, the work includes carpentry and blacksmith work for beams and tiles, engineering, procurement, concrete foundation, construction, installation, and commissioning for the project.
