Description

Ain Sokhna port is considered a gateway to Egypt, the Arab Gulf states and Asia. Ain Sokhna port is located on the western coast of the Gulf of Suez, about 43 km south away from Suez, with an area of ​​22.3 km², and with a draft reaches up to 18 meters. Due to the large surrounding areas, the port soon became a major industrial center serving local and international markets.

The expansion plans include the work of new four new docks and berths / container terminals, general cargo terminals and dry and liquid cargo terminals, with the provision of logistical services, storage and distribution centers and the establishment of a dry port. In addition, investment will be made in modernizing port vehicles and container handling equipment.

Ain Sokhna port will be served by a network of railways with a length of (33 km) connected to the Sokhna express electric train / El Alamein / Marsa Matrouh, to be used in transporting goods around Egypt and other Egyptian Ports, in addition to a network of internal roads with lengths of 17 km. Concrete pavement 6 lanes, including the arterial road, connects the berths and the port as a whole, which contributes In the absence of any future accumulations inside the port, and the provision of multimodal transport networks, in addition to the construction of a 1050-meter breakwater.

Scope of work

Construct and finishing some work in the Pier / port includes carpentry and blacksmith work for beams and tiles, engineering, procurement, concrete foundation, construction, installation, and commissioning for the project.
