Suez Canal Tunnels - Segment Factory

Project Description

Delta Contracting executed the structural works for a temporary pre-cast factory dedicated to producing tunnel wall segments for the Suez Canal Tunnels Project.
The facility was designed to manufacture more than 130,000 reinforced concrete tunnel segments, supporting the execution of exploratory and tunneling works in one of Egypt’s most strategic infrastructure projects.

Scope of Work

Civil and Structural Works

• Earthworks and site preparation
• Large-scale concrete pours for industrial slabs

Steel and Fit-Out Works

• Installation of structural steel shed frames
• Cladding and roofing works
• Complete shed fit-out for production operations

Project Delivery

• Construction and handover of a fully operational concrete segment factory to support the Suez Canal Tunnels development
