Delta Contracting contributed to the construction works at Suez Cement Company’s Helwan integrated plant, focusing on a state-of-the-art Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS).
The system is designed to capture waste heat generated by the cement kilns and convert it into electrical energy, ensuring a more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly manufacturing process.
With a production capacity of up to 18 MW of power for captive consumption, the WHRS significantly reduces reliance on external power sources. The system requires no additional fuel, relying solely on residual heat, and produces zero greenhouse gas emissions, making it a sustainable solution for industrial energy efficiency.
